How does one know that he / she is sane?

Since insane people don%26#039;t know if he / she is insane.
How does one know that he / she is sane?
wouldnt other people tell them?? but then the other people may be hypocrites, personally i think that insanity is a way of life xD





my ex (MR HYPOCTIRE) broke up with me cause i was insane , but thats a totally different story XD

Part of being crazy is thinking you are sane.





So pretty much everyone thinks they are sane.

And if you%26#039;re sane and you think you%26#039;re sane then you%26#039;re sane, but if you%26#039;re sane and you think you%26#039;re insane are you sane or insane?





See what I%26#039;m saying? They%26#039;re logic traps. In the first you%26#039;re sane because your logic is correct, but you%26#039;re really insane. And in the second you%26#039;re insane because your logic is correct, but you%26#039;re really sane.





I think the trap lies in the fact that the definition of being sane or insane is very subjective, and maybe the only things we can accurately judge to be sane or insane are the reactions we have to situations.
Reply:Some people don%26#039;t want to be helped, yet people are only human and want to help. Fact of the matter is, if your talking about some form Alzheimer%26#039;s disease or something then its difficult to tell if anything is %26#039;ticking over%26#039; inside their minds.


Your definition of sanity is subjective- the maddest guy on the street could have to most refined mind you%26#039;ll never know, yet he seems like a nut! So yeah....

Someone who is labelled insane is usually someone who behaves in manner outside of the observer%26#039;s perception of what would be sound, reasonable, or clear thinking.

Assuming you function within social reason and social expectations then you are likely sane -- at least by the majority%26#039;s opnion.
